Do you Pinterest? I was not too quick to jump on the Pinterest bandwagon, but once I did, I found it a very useful way to keep track of all those cool things we see on other blogs.
I've got quite a few things pinned and don't feel like I am doing as many new things as I should so I am going to try to do at least a few Pinterest pins every week.
I tried 2 new cookie recipes found on Pinterest and both are keepers.
They are both from the same blog, High Heels and Grills. This cook recommends using bread flour in cookies, she says it makes the cookies chewier. I am not sure if she is right but both batches I tried are delicious and just as good as the original blogpost made them out to be.
I used cherry jam and raspberry jam. Most of these will go in the freezer - but they are so good- it would not be hard to eat a handful before you knew it. |
Rhonda, I have a zillion things pinned and totally need to do some. I am thinking that I might have the bars pinned--not sure but will definitely have to check. Both look yummy!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely going to have to try the sugar cookie bars! :)
ReplyDeleteI don't pin but our DD's do, they send me "Mom will you please make this" all of the time! Ha I am afraid to get on I will drive myself crazy trying to do it all
ReplyDeleteI use bread flour in my cookies and it does make a difference. We like our cookies soft and chewy. :)
